David P. Calleo

DAVID P. CALLEO, the Dean Acheson Professor and former director of European Studies at SAIS, is the author of more than six books, including The Bankrupting of America, The German Problem Reconsidered, and America and the World Political Economy. A former consultant to the United States under secretary of state for political affairs, he joined the faculty in 1968. In 2001 he was named a University Professor.
