Jessica M. Gill

JESSICA M. GILL, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, is a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor at the Johns Hopkins University. She is a national leader in discovering the biological mechanisms of traumatic brain injuries, and investigating the different recovery responses from veterans, athletes and other patients who experience traumatic brain injuries. At Johns Hopkins, she holds joint appointments at the School of Nursing and the School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology. Previously, she worked at the National Institutes of Health as a senior investigator and acting deputy scientific director of the National Institute of Nursing Research and deputy director of the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. Gill earned her Ph.D. at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and her MSN in psychiatric nursing from the Oregon Health and Sciences University.
