Jon Weingart
JON WEINGART, M.D., is the inaugural Reza Khatib, M.D. Professor in Neurosurgery. After completing his residency training in Neurological Surgery and also a Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Weingart joined the neurosurgery faculty in 1995. He is now Professor of Neurosurgery and Oncology, ViceChairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, Chief of the NeuroOncology Division, and Director of the Neurosurgical Operating Room. Dr. Weingart has been a steadfast leader, educator, and mentor within the department. He is a highly accomplished and skilled neurosurgeon and has one of the most productive clinical practices within the department of neurosurgery. He is widely recognized as both a gifted surgeon and compassionate provider.
