Jon Weingart

JON WEINGART, M.D., is the inaugural Reza Khatib, M.D. Professor in Neurosurgery. After completing his residency training in Neurological Surgery and also a Fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Weingart joined the neurosurgery faculty in 1995. He is now Professor of Neurosurgery and Oncology, Vice­Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, Chief of the Neuro­Oncology Division, and Director of the Neurosurgical Operating Room. Dr. Weingart has been a steadfast leader, educator, and mentor within the department. He is a highly accomplished and skilled neurosurgeon and has one of the most productive clinical practices within the department of neurosurgery. He is widely recognized as both a gifted surgeon and compassionate provider.
