Pravin Krishna

PRAVIN KRISHNA, the Chung Ju Yung Distinguished Professor of International Economics and Business, holds joint appointments at Johns Hopkins in the School of Advanced International Studies and the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences’ Economics Department. Professor Krishna’s research focuses on diverse theoretical and empirical issues in areas of international economics. His articles have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of International Economics, and Economic Theory. He is the author of Trade Blocs: Economics and Politics, published by Cambridge University Press in 2005. He received his MA, MPhil and PhD in economics from Columbia University, and holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
