Second Decade Society Assistant Professorship

The SECOND DECADE SOCIETY (SDS) is the alumni leadership development organization for the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. The society’s membership is composed of 135 undergraduate alumni who are elected 10 to 20 years after graduation. SDS members are leaders in their professions and communities and contribute their talents in service to the university in areas including career development for undergraduates, student recruitment, fundraising, and alumni relations. The SDS Professorship was established for an assistant professor who has demonstrated a commitment to undergraduate teaching and evidences significant scholarly promise.
